Welcome to Northwest Ships!  This site connects naval ships and their naval history with the place they were named for, it deals only with names from the Northwestern U.S. We hope you are able to glean from this humble collection the significance, and the importance of the rolls that the U.S. Navy and the men that served played in maintaining our level of freedom and security, which all to often are taken for granted.
